On-going consultation on the dangers of multiwall carbon (nano)tubes

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has opened a consultation on the hazard classes for multiwall carbon (nano)tubes, following the submission of a dossier by Germany for the inclusion of the substance in Annex VI of the CLP Regulation.


Contributions are expected on carcinogenicity and specific organ toxicity after repeated exposure. The consultation will end on September 3.
