Newsflash
characterization definition regulation

Launched on May 7, the European consultation on the definition of the term “nanomaterial” ended today. Our association AVICENN has contributed. Not being an “expert” at the scientific and technical level, AVICENN did not give an opinion on matters outside its field of competence, but made sure it fulfilled its monitoring role

by recalling the broader expectations of civil society for a better regulatory framework to ensure the protection of health and the environment. Will the answers provided by the different stakeholders be published? How will they be processed and how soon?
