control detection occupational health

The DISCmini device is one of the only devices that allows real-time measurement of personal exposure to nanoparticle aerosols.

The technical note in issue no. 262 of the INRS journal Hygiène et Sécurité du travail summarizes laboratory work conducted by INRS on thirteen devices and a wide range of test aerosols to measure the metrological performance of this device

In the end, this instrument tends to overestimate the concentration by 30 to 100% and underestimate the particle diameter by 20 to 30%.

INRS invites users to critically observe the data that are derived from it, addressing in particular the issue of data processing and interpretation.
