Recall of confectionery and chocolate containing E171

The new governmental product recall information site “RappelConso” has issued three alerts yesterday concerning products containing E171. This food additive is banned from sale in France because of the potential risk of colorectal cancer associated with the ingestion of titanium dioxide (partly in the form of nanoparticles).
