Recall of the graphene masks distributed in Nancy

Mathieu Klein, Mayor of the City of Nancy and President of the Greater Nancy district, contacted yesterday the Ministry of Solidarity and Health to obtain clear information on graphene masks. While waiting for this clarification, as a precautionary measure, he decided that:

  • The 5,000 graphene masks still in the City of Nancy’s inventory will not be distributed until further notice.
  • Those who still have them in their homes are asked to temporarily suspend their use.

A year ago, the Greater Nancy district ordered nearly 250 000 of these graphene masks from the company BioSerenity which indicated to AVICENN that it had previously verified the conformity of these masks (manufactured by the company Shanghai Ruicheng). Neither the distributor BioSerenity, nor the communities concerned have received any feedback from the users that had complained about possible problems related to the wearing of the masks (no longer marketed today).
