Several actions concerning nanomaterials are listed in the Assessment of the 3rd Occupational Health Plan 2016-2020:
- the classification of titanium dioxide as a category 2 carcinogen by inhalation
- the initiatives of the network of preventionists in the New Aquitaine region (investigations, meeting and exchange days)
- a kit to help identify the nano risk and a webinar produced by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes regional nano working group (Direccte, Carsat, occupational health services, with the participation of CEA and CFDT)
- Nano newsletters produced by the nano group in the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region (volunteer occupational health services, OPPBTP, Direccte)
- the study and monitoring of exposure to nanomaterials in connection with the National Health and Environment Plan 4 (PNSE 4), including better use of the R-Nano database
