The Center for international environmental law (CIEL), ETC Group, Health care without harm (HCWH) and Women engage for a common future (WECF) sent an open letter yesterday to representatives of European institutions to ask for the withdrawal of these masks in Europe, following the example of Canada.

Manufacturers insist that there are many types of graphene and graphene masks, but as it is not known which types of graphene are incorporated into the masks on the market, risk assessments are not possible.
